| I think I'm going to move. Not in a physical sense. At least, not for a few months. I've created a blog on Blogspot. Mike has been telling me Xanga is stupid and Blogspot is awesome for over a year now. If you have a particular reason why I shouldn't move, let me know. I'm going to give it a trial run. The new address is: http://somewhatpointless.blogspot.com/

| Mike and I went on a little backpacking trip last weekend to the Angeles National Forest just north of Pasadena. These trailhead is an amazing 2 hours from our house (45 miles, a lot of curves). We hiked in to Little Jimmy campground, spent the night, and hiked out the next day. There was a family camping there too that brought snow sleds and spent their time sledding down the snowy hills. We were jealous. There was snow on the north slopes of the hills and on patches of the trail. It made for some slow going.
Anyway, every time we hike in the Angeles, we pick up handfulls of burst balloons along the trails. Any time someone in LA lets a balloon go, it floats up, then east, and gets caught in the mountain trees. It's a little like finding the treasure at the end of the rainbow, but sad. You mean balloons go somewhere when I let them go? YES.

| Mike was on TV last night. If you missed it, the show was Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. You can find the episode on the NBC website. He's really easy to see. His scene is within about the last 10 minutes of the show. - Just in case you're bored.

| Combine a cup of procrastination with a few ounces of over-committment. Mix and pour over a bowl of graduate-student. What you get is a really messy house, a long to-do list, a caffeine buzz, and no working out. I'm constantly hovering in the "top-priority" stage. Whatever it is that I am doing at any given time must be a very top priority. At least the good evening TV is back on for entertainment.
